access to Life, on view at the corcoran gallery of art June 14 – July 20. magnum photographers paolo pellegrin, alex majoli, larry towell, jim goldberg, gilles peress, jonas bendiksen, steve mcmurry, and eli reed have witnessed the external aspects of individual lives marked by hiv, aids, and malaria. the consequences are seen throughout several locations around the globe, yet these images also explore the role of medical intervention in the fight against such life-threatening illnesses.
